North Park is the trendy up and coming area of San Diego. Craftsmen-style homes meet hipster restaurants and bars in this centrally located neighborhood.

Coin Op Game Room* – Arcade games and beer lure crowds from all over San Diego to this fun, interactive bar in the heart of North Park. Coin Op is perfect for a date night or lazy afternoon.

Under Belly*– This place is delicious! While the ramen isn’t known for being traditional, it is a flavor medley you don’t want to miss. The atmosphere is trendy and they have a good beer selection. Insider Tip: Try the pork buns as an appetizer.

Tostadas – With a new take on the Mexican classic, Tostadas is drool-worthy! Try the watermelon-tuna tostada for next level flavor.

Carnitas Snack Shack* – Pork lovers rejoice. This casual dining restaurant is where BBQ meets Mexican and it is divine.

Grand Ol BBQ Y Asado – This low key restaurant is the perfect spot for an awesome lunch. There are outdoor picnic tables to dine on and you can bring beer from the gas station next door! They are open until they sell out so get there early. The smell alone is amazing, and the Argentinian style BBQ and chimichurri are the best in San Diego.

Holy Matcha – Traditional Japanese Tea meets Instagram worthy decor in the trendy cafe. Not sure if matcha is your thing? Go with the latte.

Polite Provisions – This old school style cocktail bar is perfect for late night libations or pre-dinner drinks.

Soda and Swine* – Soda and Swine is connected to Polite Provisions but is much more low key. This is meatball heaven. With 7 different kinds ranging from chicken parmesan to banh mi, there is a meatball for every palate. Then choose your vessel; sub, slider, skillet, or spaghetti. Did I mention they have frozen rosé slushies?
